If your heating stops working and you need to report a repair, you can do this by calling our usual number, 0300 3300 900 and following the options to report your issue.

If you use gas to operate your heating and hot water in your home, you will know how important it is. Gas appliances require regular maintenance to operate safely and efficiently. Gas servicing involves inspecting, cleaning, and repairing these systems to ensure their top performance.

Here is why gas servicing is so important:

  • Safety – Gas appliances that are not properly maintained can become dangerous, leading to gas leaks, or worse, carbon monoxide poisoning. Carbon monoxide is a colourless, odourless, and highly toxic gas that can cause serious health problems or even be fatal if inhaled in large quantities. During a gas service, a Liberty technician will check for gas leaks, ensure that the appliances are properly ventilated, and test for carbon monoxide emissions. By recognising and managing potential hazards early, you can stop accidents and ensure the safety of your home.
  • Improved efficiency – If not regularly serviced, gas appliances lose efficiency over time. An appliance that isn’t running efficiently can use more gas than necessary, leading to higher energy bills. A poorly maintained boiler may take longer to heat water or produce less heat than it should. Technicians will clean components, replace worn parts, and make any necessary adjustments to improve performance.
  • Compliance with regulations – We are legally required to service gas appliances at regular intervals, and it’s also important for us to demonstrate our commitment to your safety.
  • Peace of mind – Regular gas servicing provides peace of mind, knowing that your appliances are safe, efficient, and reliable. Whether it’s the comfort of knowing your family is safe or the confidence that your appliances will work effectively during colder months, regular gas servicing provides peace of mind.

We will contact you every 10 months to schedule your gas service. It’s really important that these safety checks take place, so please work with us to confirm an appointment slot that works for you. This will ensure your heating and hot water is always working as it should.
